The MarkPlus Conference 2007

Over 2000 audience flooded the hotel’s ballroom, making the MarkPlus Conference 2007 , supported by the Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing, the biggest Marketing festival in Southeast Asia.
Hermawan Kartajaya, also the Chairman and President of MarkPlus Inc, ASEAN’s first marketing professional services firm, presented the business outlook for Indonesia for 2007. Aimed to unite ASEAN marketers, guests from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam were also present. There were awards given, such as the Marketer of the Year Prize, and Brand Activation + Visualization Awards to various industries such as banking, construction, etc. One of the highlight of the event was the break-out sessions where the audience could choose among two rounds of 3 speakers each from renowned companies/institutions. The companies include: Cisco, Yamaha, Nokia, AIG Life, Toyota and Garuda Indonesia. Prof. Hooi representing Nanyang Business School delivered a refreshing session on Unconventional Marketing.
